GoPro Style Camera W/Out GoPro Price

I've been experimenting with GoPro style cameras for a few months when I've been fishing. I knew there had to be some out there that were high quality, but not as expensive. I've tried everything from a really cheap DBPower (has audio problems and turns off randomly), to a nicer SJCam (works great, just a little more pricey than I wanted). Finally, I found a camera that seems to be living up to all my expectations in the $50-75 range. Thought I'd throw this out there for any of you guys looking to get a good action cam setup for season. I haven't had any issues or contact with the company, so I can't speak to the their customer service or anything, but I'm definitely pleased with the camera so far.

Any of you guys using this same model?

I have a go pro. My opinion, battery goes fast! And the zoom level is not that great...

When I had actual GoPro brand cameras, I started using the Wasabi batteries. They outlast the GoPro batteries by a pretty long time. If I remember right, my tests were usually 30+ minutes more on the Wasabi. I still use those same batteries with this camera as well.

      Here's what I use:

I have a geekpro 4K and for what I use it for it's great. Gopro accessories fit it.

I bought this MUVI years ago off Amazon when it was $120. Bunch of accessories and I modified one with a quick release and have picatinny scope rings on my crossbows, ML, and turkey gun. It has a 3x digital zoom and a remote to turn it on and off, plus a viewing screen on the back. It actually takes decent videos but is grainy at low light. Good enough for me.

Yeah, most of the accessories are interchangeable on all these type cameras. I buy these mega packs of all kinds of mounts and stuff for really cheap.

I used a GoPro on my vacation this summer and wished I had kept my Garmin Virb. I liked everything about the Virb better, especially the other sensors it would connect to and overlay that data on the video (heart rate, speed, elevation, G forces, etc). Was not exactly a low budget option though.

Will probaby grab one of these amazon cameras you posted and give that a try instead of using my company GoPros on my next fishing trip. That way I won't be so worried about losing it.

How would you compare this to the tactacam 4.0? I have neither and am trying to see what would work best. Thanks

I've never used a tactacam, so I can't say for sure. From what I've heard, the tactacam does not have as many mount options as the GoPro style stuff. Tactacam is meant more for gun/bow mounting, where the other cams have more mount options than most of us will ever need.

I could totally be wrong on that though...
