Any of my Katy, TX brethren evacuating?

I never even considered leaving but I'm hearing of more and more people in the Houston area headed out.

Heck I've turned my Mayweather-MacGregor fight party on Saturday into a hurricane party.

Is anyone in Katy bugging out?

I'm in Cypress and sent my wife and 2 year old daughter to her parents in Dallas. We flooded during the Memorial Day floods so I'm staying put armed with sand bags, pumps and Buffalo trace!

We are in Houston just east of 249 on spring cypress and my brother is just west on spring cypress. We are staying. I've got the bare essentials.... 15 one gallon jugs of water, 3 gallons of tea, 12 bags of ice, ranch style beans, chili, ramen noodles, chips, dips, hamburger helper, 10 lbs of ground deer meat, 12 lbs of sausage links, several pounds of back strap steaks, 3-4 lbs of fresh speckled trout, some frozen wild turkey, a pot roast in a crock pot going, a small grill, a bag of charcoal, a stack of mesquite, 3 boxes of matches, some tequila, and 4 bottles of Texas wine from Fredericksburg! I've also got the pistola shined and cleaned as well as hers and a coupled loaded 12 gauges with 3 1/2's!

Oh, and a smoking hot fiancé to "ride the storm" [emoji1303]

On a serious note, if any TBH member around the area needs anything, a place to stay if something bad happens, or anything else please feel free to let me know. Im always willing to help the best I can.

We didn't flood at all (not even close) during last year's floods but I'm sure I'll be at my MIL's house in Westlake north of I-10 to begin cleanup...again. That area floods with a little rain shower.

That last sentence is truth! The media is salivating for another Katrina. Sick bastages.

Not a big media market between the border and corpus, people would stop watching... not saying it's gonna rain here but...
