Is rock port open ?

My inlaws are in Florida on vacation. Their house is in rock port. All of their pets are at home and the house is not locked down. What are the chances of me getting down there today ? It is normally a 4 hour drive.

I went to seadrift yesterday. The road in was 75mph and wide open. The road out last night was topped out at 45mph. It really was a boat and RV parade.

I'm sure you can get there and they will let you go or help you get there. Hopefully you can get out quickly via back roads or something.

If you're going, get your butt on the road... once the rain hits, the roads will close quickly.. been trapped down there a couple of times with flooded creeks...

Not sure where you are coming from but my Dad went from just south of San Antonio to Port A and back yesterday with no major traffic.
