    I'm a builder. If you put masonry on the second story, then it's about the same. Otherwise it's a "little" cheaper. If you have the land, stay 1 story.

      I would never build up unless I ran outta dirt. I hate stairs....and getting the AC just right is always a pain.

        I was thinking about an elevator, and I'm from Hunt county, we use window units, can't beat the sound of a window unit!

          Yea even a nook/small room can be a peace full room well worth it. Or you could put a tower blind in the yard and save on your taxes.

            No doubt, I won't show any pics of the deer they have in the neighborhood . It's only 2 acres, I don't know if I could shoot a deer within sight of my house, the hogs will be fair game though.

            I have a buddy shot a 175 a few years ago sitting in a pop up next to his daughters swing set, just not sure I could pull that trigger.
