What is this storm going to do to the birds in central central/west tx? Got a bird hunt lined up in uvalde next weekend. I'm thinking we're gonna be fine, just wondering what the know all's have to say about it?

Im in Brownwood and weather says we have a few cool fronts coming thru over the next week. I usually would be worried but I dont think the birds are gonna be able to go very far with the storm headed this way. Maybe it'll push some birds up to us.

Depends on the amount of rain. There is lots of seed on the ground here in NB.

Too much rain will ruin the seed and make the fields a mess.

Sometimes these storms push the birds out of the coastal areas and they end up inland, back in 1998 when the flooding storm came in we had 1000s of birds come in and concentrate for a couple weeks after. Best bird hunting I ever saw that year (over fields not water).
