Oh yeah...that's a Mangrove Snapper. Great eating fish. I hope they caught a bunch of them. They are usually in pretty large groups. A smaller hook with dead shrimp is killer on those boogers. Burry the hook in the bait and use fluorocarbon line if you got it.

I'd say with that non-forked tail it has to be a mudcat. Definitely not a channel. [emoji846]
