Trail cam antenna

I have a Bushnell Trophy Cam that I have been using two seasons with good results. I have a spot in the bottoms and only have 'one bar' and it won't text photos. Does anybody have any experience with the 'extended antennas' that you can find on Amazon etc.? If so, what have been the results?
