They definitely come out at night! Killed two within 10 ft of each other my last trip to the lease right beside my trailer. During the summer if you walk around and look just a little bit you will find them at night at our lease. Killed three last yr in one evening going to the blind.

Just show 'em your foot!One almost got me Sat. morning while moving a stand here in Liberty County... Fortunately I was able to pistol whup him...
Don't get out and get hot too soon after that bite. Make sure you are fully recovered! My dad almost died when he was a young man. He got bit on the finger by a snake head he'd just cut off. Went in the hospital, got OK, and at home a few days later, was working in the garden and had a relapse... went into a coma for several days before he recovered... spent almost 6 months home and out of work...
