Only problem I had when I went was that I didn't wanna come home. Seriously thought about how to make a living up there but the wife wouldn't consider it.

I worked the north slope in 99 and 2000 and had a chance to move there and work a full time gig on the slope. They offered to pay for us to move to Keani but my wife said she couldn't deal with the cold and darkness.
I took her there in 2012 on a bear hunt and she was begging me to find a job there so we could move there full time. Crazy women

Thanks for the comments - I agree the pics are pretty awesome (it's all camera, not my photo taking ability) but they do not do justice to seeing it in person. So much to do and see up there. I will be going back!
