    Moultrie hog light?

Thinking of grabbing one of these next time I head up to my lot. Last time used my headlamp with green/red diodes, but was a little difficult to see still. Anyone use one?

Works great have a couple of them.

I used to have a EWT light like that. Many a hog met their demise by it. Can't speak of the quality of the moultrie but the EWT worked until I let it sit for a couple years with the D batteries in it and they corroded inside.

I liked mine, but at times I felt like it didn't come on when it should. Perhaps it was set up too high? Like BBReezen, I left the batteries in way too long.

What I do like about it - the Moultrie attaches to the screw rod on their feeder timer box. Perfect location!

In for further reviews... Been thinking of getting one after deer season wraps up.

I've used em on a 5 gallon feeder hanging from a limb. Didn't really seem to spook anything. Only problem I had with it was when the feeder gets close to empty, the wind will move the feeder and cause the light to stay on all night.

I wondered about that. Does the light come apart, screw the backing on the screw rod, tighten the nut down, and then put the light "cap" back on? That's how it appeared but wasn't sure. That'd be nice if it installs that easily.

                Hog light

I purchased 4 of the wildgame innovations lights. I chose them because of price and built in solar panel. Been up several months now with no issues. I have had to play around with how high to set them, but I have taken a few hogs from under them. Not a ton of light, but you don't need much if you have a good scope.

Best part about the lights is I can see them on from far off, and know I have something at the feeder.

Killed a ton of pigs under the Moultrie light. Best light for the money IMO. Shows out of stock on site but the Waco Atwoods has them on the shelf for 29.94

New product out called boar light. You can purchase it off of allpredatorcalls.com for $139.99, it's solar powered and has a photocell so it dims green and when motion gets under or in front it brightens up. Charge for 7 hours out of box then don't need to charge again with a huge solar on top. Super bright. I've bought 2 so far. Just a suggestion.
