If buying one today it would be a SIG. Ranged cattle recently with a kilo 2000 at over 1800 yards.

I've owned 3 rangefinders in my life. First was a bushnell that lasted one day before half the lcd went out. Took it back and spent an extra $150 and got a Leupold rx-ii that i was extremely happy with for about 5 years. Someone stole my bow and and the Leupold was in the case. Replaced it with a Nikon and was really dissapointed with it. For what ever reason it would range something one time and get no reading the next. Just bought a used Leupold rx-iv Boon and Crockett off Ebay. Waiting for it to get in.

I think there's no secret I'm an optics snob lol. The sig kilo 2000 blows it out of the water

Had a kilo1250 and it wouldn't range a cow at 400. Sig sent me a replacement guaranteeing it would do better and it did not. They sent me a Kilo2000 because of the 1250 not holding up to their advertised standards on range. Said it was a big issue. Love the Kilo2000 but the 1250 isn't worth it.....

I have a Simmons rangefinder I got from Sportsmans guide, under $100 and works great for bowhunting. Is very accurate from my measurements.
