Just had a young 4 pt cruise by...he was not legal but never entered any of my shooting lanes.

Passed an old deer i said i was gonna shank. 23 yards and clueless. He's 5 or better and a 8 with tiny crabclaws. He's got a lump in the lower jaw from something, been there since last year.

I just couldn't put 13" on him

Well the deer i named Copenhagen due to the knot on his jaw is no more. I saw him this morning and couldn't make him 13. Must need contacts cause he's 15 1/2. My boy put the 6mm on him this afternoon on his first solo rifle hunt. Deer went 30 feet. Guess my little hunting buddy is officially grown up
