Anyone have trouble with their glasses getting in the way when shooting our bow?

I am trying to find the best prescription sport glasses for bow hunting. Seems the frame of my current glasses are always in my vision or blocking part if the peep at full draw. I am currently looking at getting Oakley Flak 2.0 in RX. Does anyone have other suggestions?

    Me me me...

I have the same issue. In fact, I haven't shot my bow for a couple years due to glasses. I haven't been able to focus through the peep sight. I'm taking my bow to the archery shop and having a larger or even the largest peep installed and see if that makes a difference.

I just bought new glasses too. I have thought about having shooting glasses made, but after dropping $400 on new frames and lenses last week, I think I'll hold off for awhile.

Contact lenses work great for this

Aren't usually caught outside without sunglasses... but they're all up in my way with the bow.. makes me sad all day.

Yes. That is why I had a peep verifier installed on my bow string. No problems now- shoot without my glasses.

Yep. This issue and fogging were the final straw leading me to get contacts about 10yrs ago.

Fogging is the main thing that gets me.

Same here about 4-5 years ago. Wish I would have done it much sooner

yep drives me crazy, my nose can't touch the string for me to be able to see through my peep, but i have my form down to where it works decent. I just don't think I can handle contacts, I can barely put visine in my eyes without putting me to sleep first. lol

In my experience, shooting with a peep while wearing glasses requires a little different head position - more squared-up to the target. If your head is more perpendicular to the target line and you are moving your eyes to the left, you are looking through the edges of your lenses which distorts your view. With all glasses you have to look through the center of the lenses for maximum clarity.

I switched to contacts about 20 years ago and can't shoot with glasses now. If I did I would shoot 1/2" longer and anchor on the side of my nose vs center of my nose. The bridge gets. My way otherwise

You could always do like Todd graff and get some goggles

You are lucky you don't have trifocals.
