Deer Processor in Stephenville area?

Anyone know of a good one? I've heard Clay's is good (North of Dublin) but the last few times I've passed by, it looked like it was closed.

As much deer hunting as there is around there it's hard to believe, but I've been told there is not a processor anywhere in Stephenville. We hunt 20 miles or so north of town - from there the closest one is up in Strawn.

Not sure if it is still there, but there was a processor in Bluff Dale.

I use to use Clay's whe I lived in S'ville.

The guy in Bluff Dale is good but expensive.

Me and Brandon have always used Clay's and he does an excellent job. I don't think he normally opens until gun season opens though. I talked to him in Dublin at a cattle sale a month or so ago and he was still planning on being open.

Thanks guys. I may just keep the meat iced down until Thursday when I go back to Cisco and can drop it off at Rust.

I called Clay's and the answering machine said he wouldn't be open until rifle season.

Clay's in Dublin is still open. There is one guy in Stephenville. His name is Dan Devivo. His # is 254-968-3006. He is a one man/small operation. He is limited on what he does. Don't think he does smoked sausage, but does jerky, summer, etc. I use to goto Chruch with him. Give him a call and he can tell you what he does/doesn't do.
