that is the first thing I thought when I saw these pics. never before have I thought that until these pics...mainly his face, could be age on him though..

on a side note; if you don't end up killing him, I call dibs on his sheds from this year...lol

I was going to ask the same thing DerekC. I have looked at westtexasagent pics on here many times, but have not noticed until now. The rack looks whitetail, but I see some muley in his face.

The ears look a lil big and that black muzzle with the black on the forehead jsut says muley to me. Forehead could be hormones/glandular...I would be curious if he gets himself killed if A&M or someone would do a DNA check..good project for a PHD student

I agree 110 percent, he looks like a Mulie in every way shape and form. Even his antlers split like a mulies. Face is most definately a mulie. Please don't shoot me, I don't mean to be smart alec or inflame anyone. I really thought this was going to be passed as a mulie and not a wt. My aplologies if I offend anyone, it's just my opion. I know mine below is no where close to this one in antler size, but the charecterisitcs are way to alike. It is an AWESOME deer in my opion.
