And by the way I feel fantastic! Completely reset my body. There is a lot of great info out there on 7 day water only fasts and how amazing it actually is for your body. It is definelty not easy though.... especially as I was making breakfast and dinner everyday for my family and sitting at the table with them while they ate....Last edited by em12; 10-18-2017, 11:48 AM.

Im a pretty big guy at 6'4" and 230 lbs and she started me off taking half of a 50 mg tablet 3 times a week.
Does this seem pretty average? Or should I look into going and seeing a specialist here in Austin somewhere?
Normal dose. Why didn't she prescribe HCG if you are worried about fertility issues? FWIW I never took HCG and got my wife pregnant 2 times in 19 months.

Mind you I walked into the clinic that day for a normal physical with bloodwork because of fatigue. They took my blood, ran it through their machine, and got me a prescription all in about 45 minutes. There wasn't exactly much time for me to research what all options were out there.

For those of you who have had problems with your insurance company paying for you T. I started at the Rockwall Low T Clinic early last summer and had great results, but I was paying $20 a week, which is not bad, but I had an insurance change and had to stop going. Due to insurance change I was directed to a new Dr. That Dr. did a blood test and determined I was in deed in need of T. The prescription was then sent to my pharmacy and shortly after denied by BCBS. I was told by BCBS they would not pay for my T due to my T number being about average, 250, LOL. I then sought out the route of paying cash for the drug. I found a local pharmacy that would sell me a 10ml vial of 200mg T for $75. I have recently found that goodRX.com has the same medication, and that Walgreens has to price them at $42 a vial. So for .5ml of 200mg T that I take once a week it cost me just over $2 for the medication and syringe.

I have BCBS as well and after being on the pellets for almost 3 years now....with them the whole time....they denied my last claim. They said they will cover the pellets but not the procedure to insert them.....how ridiculous is that????? I am now doing self injections and using a pharmacy through my Dr, I get 3 months worth of testosterone and all the syringes that I need for $72 without even using my insurance.
