The Gander Mountain (now shut down) here in Corsicana used to sale a lot of the Diamond Bows.I shot a few of them and they shot okay, but to me, again just a personal feel, they felt cheap. Like I would not expect them to make it in the woods more then a season. I have never put that model in hand so maybe others can help more. There are a lot of bows in the price range, that would be a lot better choices.

I shot a Black Ice for several years and liked. Smooth, quiet, but not real fast.

For $400 you could buy a used set up that is a few years old and was top of the line in its day. But if they let you shoot it and you like it then buy it.
