Slow this morning in wheeler county. I saw a mature buck running a doe yesterday at noon in northern Hemphill county.

Sitting in the stand in Garza county. I️ have been here since 6 am. Does show up about every 30 minutes and eat as hard and fast as they can. Bucks (no shooters yet) show up shortly after and run them all over the pasture. I️ have never seen this aggressive of a rut here. I’m sure glad I️ had peanuts in my backpack to snack on. I’m not leaving this for food.

Sat last night and this morning good movement, passed 130+ 10 point. Came in and checked does and left. 125 in 8 came in right after. Rut is on the verge of going full blown.

Most of the mature bucks we've seen are on a doe. Nothing coming to the feeders right now. Saw a decent 8pt this evening running a doe, didn't stick around long though.

Saw some bucks in Hemphill this evening. One was chasing pretty hard looked to be just 3.5 had one mature buck but not a shooter
