Small Business Cell Phone Question

I am in the process of purchasing a small business. I am going to use their existing business number on a cell phone. My question is do you know if it is better to just add a line to your existing cell phone (family plan) or purchase a company small business cell phone and keep it separated under small business. If I use my family plan I was even considering getting rid of my personal number and using the cell phone as my number. Your input would certainly be very helpful. Not even sure if the family plan should be an option. Thanks, Jeff

I keep 2 cell numbers.I use one for business and one for family and friends.I DO NOT give that number to business contacts unless they happen to be friends also.

You can have the old number roll over to yours, be it cell or otherwise. I do this and works great for me.

I answer the phone the same be it friends or business. Most business calls are during business hours.
