The only way I ever go to Dallas from here is 21 west to Alto, 69 north to Jacksonville, and 175 north to Dallas. It has been awhile but I always figured about 2-1/2 hours. But I have been wrong before.
Nice offer Russ! If you have a campsite, there's tent area. Tons of people looking for a place to hog hunt on here, now's their chance. Good luck, hope you get rid of em and get the deer back.
Chris, this is at my other lease, but I can take you there and show you. I don't discriminate against minibikes.....I am not a hater.... We have a campsite area- in fact I am going to try to get out there this weekend and do some mowing around it. Things are starting to get a little wooly and I haven't had time to get out there.
OK guys, starting to get some serious nibbles now so let me add a little more info. I was out there yesterday and I have two stand setups where the hogs are coming to. I have one setup in the woods where the pigs are coming in more at night and even with a full moon there isn't a lot of light to shoot by. If you have night vision on your rifle that would work at that spot. Bowhunting it at night might work because my stand is close to the feeder so that might work in dim light. The one where they are coming in during the day would give the best opportunity without having to sit up all night. Early morning/daylight and even middle of the afternoon seems to be the best time. If a couple guys want to hook up and hunt together that is fine. Might even look at corning a spot that is in the open for a night hunt with a bright moon. Savage1134, I replied to your PM.
