Really debating on which direction to go

Adding on to the cabin 1600sq ft total

Right. Ow everything is electric
But redoing everything
Putting in new a/c heat pump.
New hot water heater.

Electricity comes off of a coop that is about 12 cents a kilo watt
Highest bill we've had previously was 190$

We r foaming the insulation in this time as well

What direction would you go

Would you be concerned with it being gas and. It being there. Only 15 minutes from big town

I would stick with electric and get a timer for both. Don't pay to heat water while your gone and don't have heat/ac running full blast either. Set it up to kick on for the weekends for example.
