When Did They Grow Up?

We took our 4 and 7 year olds to visit my brother and his family in Colorado Springs last week. My brother is a Captain and my sister in law is a Major in the Air Force. My son decided he wanted to be a pilot so we took him to the base to get his official haircut and stopped by the exchange for a couple outfits while we were there. Here's a photo of my two best accomplishments in life.

Yes sir. I swear my daughter looks like she aged two years when she got her ears pierced a few weeks ago. She saw her cousin do it and decided she needed hers done too. Thought for sure I was done after 2 but I'm missing my kids being babies, might need to add another to the stables

Yup, they were babies just yesterday Lee. Once you move back, I think our kids will be in middle school together in a few years.

We've always had a tradition to take a picture each year on the morning of the first day of school. Neat way to capture the changes of the years. Maybe start now. Knew of one family (with 7 kids) who framed each one's school picture each year and mounted them on ribbons vertically, adding each new year's picture below the earlier one. Made a really meaningful and impressive display.
