Academy Game winner's are good all around little back packs. I you want to go to the next level, like a day pack for Elk Hunting, this Red Head (Bass Pro) is a nice back pack. The internal frame is nice and it also keeps some air clearance at the back of the pack reducing the sweating. Plenty of room to carry what you may need.

Eberlestock is the most comfortable for Gun Carry in the "Gun-Runner" or the XJ-1 (My wife 2 kids and I use this model) ..Horn Hunter is one of the best especially the Master Guide by HH is a Great Pack

I have a Tenzing. Not bad bags at all.
Also have a couple Badlands... Great bags but maybe not worth the money? I got both mine super cheap so not much help...
