TPWD Draw hunt lost pref. points?

just finished putting in my apps that are due in Aug. to the tune of about $64 including myself and my dad

Mine and my dads points are all there but my nephew is youth divison his show 1 point. should be 3 across the board. pulled up last years (16-17)where it says check status and it says 2 points, he wasnt drawn for anything last year. when i switch it to 17-18 its showing 1 point in all categories. should be 3. anyone else having this issue? guess ill call tomorrow. same kid, his name pulled up in system correctly when applying and im the same chaperone as it was previous years as well

Didn't your post this same thing last year?, if not someone did I remember. You can look up your draw history by year, look at his for last year, maybe he drew and you missed it? Only reason he should have one point this year is if he drew a hunt last year or first time applicant for a category.

No sir wasn't me but I have seen them before. He definitely didn't draw

I took a screen shot then censored name except the first. These are all the youth hunts applied for this year and last year.
Odd for sure. Should be 3 instead of one. I can go back and watch points grow on profile each year. 1,2, then back to 1 this year for like his profile got reset or something.

Just got off the phone with them. This is my fault not theirs.

Looks closely at the names. Jordon, and Jordan.
I fat fingered the poor kid's name on the key board the first time creating it. Since you log in with last name,dob, and social I never even paid attention to it again.

Looks like when he took hunters education they updated his info so now when you type in his last name and social it brings up the correct spelling of his name which is a different account now.

The lady was nice and said she will get accounts merged should be done by tomorrow hopefully.

So it will be fixed and it was my fault. Tpwd folks are nice enough they're working on getting it fixed now.

Lol. I try not to complain, a chance to draw hunts is better than no chance. Agree it could be better but I've been drawn twice so it's possible and the price is right. I can't complain about a cheap hunt. They must have thrown us all into the same category. Y'all watch your points they're cracking down on TBH...but if you can spell your name right when registering I think you'll be ok.
