This is one of the pack rats, he doesn't do well with rattlesnakes. He was trying to squish one of the fleeing snakes with the skidsteer yesterday...looked like an elephant stomping mice

In Cotulla one warm fall day we were checking quail watering stations and my buddy said "Dude there's a rattler a foot from your right foot."

I was like well shoot it! He says "What if I miss?" Well miss away from me!

I wound up shooting it with my pistol that I hadn't wanted to move to draw but man that snake never rattled and that really rattled me.
