Went up to my lease this weekend to get set up. I have no idea what I'm doing but I think I have a good spot. Have a trickle of a creek running through for water, minimal ground cover and big timber. Feels like a good place to set up. We'll see how it goes. Got the barrels baited. Pastries and hot dogs in the black one. The blue one is on a cable and has holes drilled in it. We loaded it with 110lbs dogfood, 5 lbs mini marshmallows, a gallon of molasses, 10lbs sugar, a bottle of maple syrup, vanilla extract and strawberry jello. The bottom of the ravine was swarming with hornets by the time we left. Hope the bears find it!
