Thinking of switching from Lab to GSH

I use to keep Pointers and Labs. Have not had pointers in a few years and my Lab is getting old. I duck hunt a little. I dove hunt a lot. I have acces to some quail hunting in the PH and am thinking of putting up a johnny house on my place in central Texas. I guess I miss watching pointers work but I don't want a kennel full of dogs. I hear German Short Hair are a good option. What do you think.

Best dog I ever had was a female GSP, many many labs, but she is still my favorite. 14 years old, so not much left. Do it, you will be very pleased and they are great family pets. Every effort needs to be made to let them run everyday. I bought my pup from Outback Kennels in Kansas by the way. Had them arrainge a couple of crackheads to deliver to Houston on their way to Florida. ($90)
