My plan this time around is to get down to around 180 then start a weight lifting routine while still eating low healthy carbs just not keto. Goal is to get to 200 lbs from 180 by adding muscle instead of fat. In theory by adding the muscle, burning fat and carbs will be easier for me. It's gonna be a long journey but I plan to stick with it to see my goal.
No need to cut carbs and no need to wait to lift. In January, I was 225. I just cut volume and ate normally, including fried turkey, etc. Just really cut back on sweets (but not completely) started weights in February. Lost 50 lbs since and have gained quite a bit of upper body mass. I am now 175 with a ton more energy, 8" off the waist and went from XL to Medium in shirts...

Strength training now keeps muscle so you can shred fat faster. Shredding it all and Building back muscle loss is ineffecient and you are likely to plateau faster.
