Are the prices on the hunts still the same as the website? I see that those prices went into effect back in 2013.

I am not real familiar with axis other than they are fantastic to eat. What can I expect horn wise for that price?

That's kinda a loaded question on the time you have to hunt and if you hold off. This goes for all the 1500 animals. These two are what I shot on my last trip and if you have 4 days you should be able to match it. He's got some GREAT axis! Skylar had pics of a 37 incher, that a guy shot before I showed up! Yes in the regular pasture for 1500!

Generally speaking, he has a variety of animals. Some are great and some are up and comers. If you have the time and patience to hold off for the one you want you should be able to get a true trophy. I've had hunts there where I got my animal on the first sit and some where I got it done at the 11th hour. The things I love about the C are Skylar will do everything he can to make your hunt successful and the large number/variety of game out there wandering around.

I'll be there August 11-13. Chasing Addax and Axis. Can't wait . Of course I pick the hottest time to go so I'll sweat my butt off but oh well.

Book with Skylar if he can get you in...you won't regret it. Great guy to hunt with, great lodge and the best value you'll find regarding dollars for quality animals. Our group has been twice now and will be back there on Sept 1 to kill mammals while others are shooting birds. Very high success rate if you are willing to put in the time in the blinds; hard to kill animals while killing beers at the lodge.

Give Sparkles a call and see when he's going.
Then book two weeks before he gets there...otherwise all that's left is squirrels and rabbits.
