need hunters - no costs

I have a place between Rocksprings and Del Rio TX. It has way too many hogs on it and prety good deer and turkeys. Well for starters I would like to offer hog hunting opportunities for others. The thing is I need help out there building my cabin. I am a terrible carpenter! I bought the place in 2004 and have always enjoyed sharing the experience with my boys and others.

I don't really know what kind of arrangment I am looking for other than a few work days and some hunting days. If you have any ideas on how this could be beneficial to yourself and me please feel free to contact.

Also, I live in the Austin area.

Hey that's a pretty cool coincidence. Well, the property is near the intersection of 277 and 377 about 5 miles from carta valley on the Pinion ranch. The main thing right now is getting my cabin built. I have a rough plan and idea of the simple 20x24 with a 12x12 room shooting off one end.

I was planning on a simple wood foundation and frame construction. I have some wood on the property but would need more. Ofcourse waste wood from construction sites is appreciated.

Well I don't know a thing about carpentry but I can swing a hammer. I also have a fairly strong back and a weak mind. :-)

well, I am interested in fellowship and adding a nice cabin to the property. To be able to accomplish both of these and make a couple of friends in the process would be great.

OK based on some of the PMs I have gotten here is some information: I would like to begin construction on the cabin as son as possible AFTER deer season closes. That will give us the rest of the winter and the spring before it becomes very hot. That will also give us some time hunting the spring turkey season. We have some good turks!
