Fur Bomber-Style Hat - Custom Made?

I have loved my bomber-type fur hat (Russian "Ushanka") that my in-laws gave me 25+ years ago. It is coyote fur and can really keep the cold at bay.
However, my hat is starting to show its age.
My mother recently passed away and had a mink stole that neither my wife nor any other family members are interested in. (And, unfortunately, the resale value of such items is next-to-nothing compared to what my dad paid for it years ago.)
I'd love to have my mom's mink stole re-purposed into a new Ushanka. (No, I don't plan on beginning a new pimping career!) I'd have a new hat, and, more importantly, I'd re-purpose something to remind me of my mom.
Does anyone know of someone in the 'fur' business that could/would do such a thing?

This is a cold day selfie with my current hat.

I have used this place in the past to tan hides. They do a great job. You can send yours in and they will craft something with it if you choose. Or, you can buy one of theirs Russian hats

Thanks for the contact - I'll see what they say. (not really interested in buying one of theirs as I want to use my mom's mink).

Found this one, like new, in a antique store. Russian made, quilted and lined inside. Looks better on my wife.

My condolences on the loss of your mom. Cool idea about using her mink for a cold weather hat. I had a friend once who inherited a mink coat when his mom passed. His wife didn't want it, and he found out the mink was essentially worthless as his mom didn't have it in cold storage for years. He finally started leaving it out in the open (draped on top of the sofa) whenever he and his wife left the house as bait for thieves hoping they'd grab that instead of computers, cameras, etc. I thought it was a good idea, but I don't think he ever had any takers.

              Regards,

              Dave
