There must be more too it. Fine line between bravery and stupidity. Not saying that's the case....but on the outside it's seems odd.

I haven't seen the movie, but read a book about him several years ago. Really a man of great courage and an even greater faith in the Lord.

I've got mixed feelings about it. I think the man was incredibly brave, and deserved every honor he received. The movie I thought may have been a little heavy on the backstory and didn't cover enough of what he did in the war
