    Pig Problem!

First pic is from my Ridge stand, second from my South stand. These are just 2 of the pics with pigs like this. Anyone up for a hunt. Located in Kent/Stonewall county between Jayton and Rotan. I have 3 bow blinds set up and we have other rifle blinds available. Might have to have a few down, but do not know if the pigs will hit consistently. The one black and white sow in the first pic might be buzzard bait as I caught one about her size napping by our pond on Thursday afternoon! Let me see what my schedule looks like over the next month or so. I have a training on the 31st and start back to school on the 9th of August. Let me know if you might be interested.

Jager Pro hog trap. We trapped over 250 pigs last year

Fence all the feeders and invest in some traps. Shoot every sow you see.

Thing is, during the off season, pics like this are common place, as it was last year. but after the bow season opens and a few get busted with a bow or gun, they disappear. I had EXACTLY 2 small groups of pigs come in once bow season opened to the end of hunting season and I shot exactly 2 pigs with those 2 chances.

I had fences, cattle and hog panels constructed fairly well but not well enough, but the pigs got thru most of them and with traps, I am too far away to run traps and no one is buying them around us anymore.

It might look like a problem now and hopefully it follows like it has been since I have been on this lease, once the seasons start, they are gone for the most part.

If the timing is right, I would road trip up there to stick some pigs and hunt a different area.

Looks like you need a slug gun full of #4's or Buckshot. Either way spray em down and use a sidearm to finish off the stragglers.

Few buddies with thermal can put a big hurtin' on a sounder. We killed 19 in one group. Fun times. Wish I was closer, I could help you out.
