Did you have to glass bed it?

    Is the barrel free floated?

I've been wanting to do that with an ADL I have, just leary of having to glass bed it (I've nover done it).

    Looks great BTW.

Barrel is free floated except for the tip of the forearm where I have about 4lbs pressure on it. I have not glass bedded it yet. Waiting till after I shoot it again because with the rigidness of the laminate stock it may not be necessary.

Glass bedding is easy. Get a accuglass bedding kit and use plenty of the release agent on the guns metal parts. I usually only bed the main front lug of the receiver. Sometimes the tang if the stock inletting is loose in that area.

I am impressed with the Boyd's product I have seen so far and I would recommend the factory finished ones. I don't think a novice (like me) could duplicate their finish quality.
