    big hog hard to belive

A south Alabama hunter bagged and tagged the trophy animal of his life when he discovered an 820-pound wild hog on his front lawn.

Yes, it is hard to believe. Looks like it came out of a feedlot and must have a lot of domestic blood in it to get that big. Also strange to see teeth like that on a free ranging wild hog the way they fight and bust them up.
    Adios,
    Gary

Agreed, but if the part of the story is true about the .38 from the porch, its a bit impressive regardless of whether its wild or not. Good dog too.

I can almost guarantee that that hog had been captured very young and had his nuts removed. Then they will not fight and become eating machines that grow long tusks. It's a giant pig no doubt but it doesn't seem to be terribly wild to remain on the lawn.

That guy is standing so far behind that hog its not funny. That hog might be close to 300 lbs. There is another thread on here about it and you can see the other photo where is he kneeling on the hog and he is bigger than it. But they like to show the picture where hes way behind the hog making it look like that. It cracks me up that these naïve news agencies run with this stuff without confirming first.

Hard to believe that this is the 3rd thread about an obviously "not wild" hog.

Funny how many people say that hog isn't anywhere near 800#, no way he shot it with a .38, etc. I say good for him. It will make a nice mount.

Somewhere there is a peta snowflake that had to go to their safe place to cry about this pig being shot.
