As you may know, the United States Congress enacted a change to the daylight saving time start and end dates beginning in 2007 in an effort to further conserve energy. As a result, many software companies are now releasing updates to adjust the Daylight Saving Time window in their date-dependent applications. The first place you will notice this happening is your Microsoft Outlook Calendar.
In 2007, daylight saving time begins on March 11 instead of April 1 and ends on November 4 instead of October 28. Daylight Saving Time (DST) now begins 3 weeks earlier and ends 1 week later than in previous years.
