Rewiring a road Feeder

Some coons got the wires on my road Feeder. I need to splice some new wires and add a new connection.

Anyone had this issue? Any improvements I can make while I am at it?

Maybe put them in braided cable, not sure if a coon will chew that stuff or not. If they do, trail cam that texts pics to you and your bow.

Slide some metal flex conduit over it.
