Picked up one of these at Wally. Coleman MAX.

    115 lumens: about $25 bux
    Excellent trailing light

without a doubt one of the brightest flashlights I've ever seen. Way brighter than my buddie's $120 "pro"

    2AA batteries: 5hr

I stumbled upon a light at Wal Mart that I really like. Its made by Coleman, all aluminum, LED, 115 lumens, 2hr continuous run time. $25. Run off 2 CR2 batteries. Very bright little light.

I had a policeman that hunted with us give me one of these.

Makes my Surefire lights look like a toy.

I have 2 Surefire 6Ps, and 2 cheaper Browning lights that are about the same size, and almost as good. I keep a red flip open lid on one surefire for getting back and forth to the blind. All of them use the same batteries also.

I just ordered that led unit above, for one of my surefires.

Great info! Thanks Guys. I'm thinking about getting one Surefire or Fenix (both can be fitted with the Cree) and then get a couple of the cheaper ones for backup.
