My grandmother used to can meat. It was really good. Take some and make a gravy with it, stir in the rest and ladle it over egg noodles or mashed taters. Yum!

Im sure you can come up with something to make with it. If not I know some poor folks down the road from you who will try it. Let me know!

Put it on a cedar plank shingle and smoke it for 14 hrs. Throw the moose out and eat the shingle.

I've never had canned moose but I have had canned venison and it is outstanding!!! My mom used to make it and we all fought over it...very good stuff.

Canned meat is awesome! Heat and eat!

My grandparents canned lots of deer and pork back in the day.

My wife is from Michigan, and she refused to eat deer meat for a while when we first started dating. I got her to start and she said deer meat tastes different here. When I went on my first visit, her uncle wanted to make deer meat for me and she warned me that I would not like it. I had never had deer meat I wouldn't eat.......until he poured it out of a jar. That was some of the foulest crap I have ever tried to eat. I forced some down just to be nice. Never again. Did things to my lower intestines that may still be messed up.

It's best when you form it into meatballs, they are called "Moose knuckles"
