So on one of my places i have a deer stand thats been in the same spot since the 90s. The neighbors have now moved across the field and on top of me maybe 100 yards. This is not my primary lease so i dont care about the hunting but i dont want them shooting at me and my daughter. The way the stand is set up that is exactly the direction they are shooting. There place is a deer lease and more than likely paper company. Now the kicker is im only 50 yards from the fence so i really dont have a leg to stand on when arguing about distance.

I would much rather someone have their stand on the fence line shooting back onto their property than having a feeder in the same place.
I have had someone hunting 12 acres with 7 that you could actually hunt that had the bottom of their feeder leg cross the fence.

X2, the problem isn't any of the stand locations until you start shooting across property lines.
I think I would just talk to them about where they plan to shoot??
I have had some similar issues with neighbors in Wisconsin on property I own. I ended up sending them all a letter explaining if they shot into my property I would involve law enforcement. If they think they would be tempted by a deer then move your stands off the property line. One neighbor asked me if I wanted him to move one of their stands. I said no, just don't shoot into my property.Last edited by Kdog; 07-10-2017, 09:33 PM.
