These things took over a part of my yard very quickly. Looks kind of like crabgrass, but the seed heads don't. The "v" stands straight up like a peace sign as opposed to crabgrass leaning over. What say you?

looks like nut grass (nut sedge) -
Sedges have edges, is what I learned from this forum. Roll it in your finger tips, and if you can feel 3 edges, then is a sedge. It doesn't look like a sedge to meComment

Thats Bahia grass. I got a 20 acre pasture of it. Good grazing grass. Its no Tifton or anything. Gly will kill it.

Several Bahia poison out there. If the rest of your yard, or the other grass in that area is Bermuda grass, you're gonna have a much easier and cheaper time getting rid of it. If the area has more sensitive grass like St Augustine or centipede, it will get harder and more expensive to get rid of.

MSMA will kill almost everything except bermuda. There are other options also, Cimmaron being one, but on the whole MSMA is the best solution IMO. I fight it all the time on two different places.
