Ntb or Discount tires

Going to buy new tires, have bought from discount several times, what about Ntb, anybody tried Cooper RTX?

discount 100%, I run 17 service vehicles and have had nothing but issues with NTB and they are priced a lot higher.

Never bought from NTB as Discount can always beat their prices. As for Cooper tires, won't ever buy another one. Never got good tread life out of them. Cupped very bad (even with regular scheduled rotate and balance. Now........this was all on a POS 07 Dodge 1500, so that could have been the issue with the tires.

Never used NTB, but I've had nothing but stellar service from Discount Tire. You'd be hard pressed to talk me into going anywhere else.

The NTB near my house always seemed disorganized and slow. Discount Tire has always been the opposite. I'm sure NTB on price and product is about the same, but for me, it has been more on the service side.

I also like that Discount Tire only does tires. Perhaps that is why the service isn't as good at NTB...they provide multiple services. Everyone that goes into Discount Tire is wanting work on tires; not oil change, inspection, fluids, etc.

I bought from NTB yesterday only because I needed an alignment and I needed tires on a Sunday. They only have 2 techs working on Sunday in my area. I was there at 10:15 and left at 1pm with 4 new tires and WITHOUT my tire alignment. They didn't even tell me they didn't do it. I asked about it and they said they didn't do it. I was second in line. Every time I looked out there, there were no techs to be seen.

I have had good luck with NTB in the past, but Discount seems to be on the ball a lot more than NTB.

Typically I use discount tire. However, I just bought a new set for my car at NTB. I got my tires substantially cheaper than Discount. And an alignment. Check their special offers (buy 2 get 2) etc. Apples to apples, discount is the way to go. My service at NTB was great but I dealt only with the manager.

ive had 3 sets of cooper rtx. I like em! ntb has a b2g2 sale right now. $612 for 4 tires, mounted with road hazard and you get a $100 visa gift card.
