All you piquante boys eat your heart out.
Caught 4 softshells Saturday fishing for catfish. 2 small and 2 bigguns.
First big one was 12-14" and over 10lbs. The concrete retaining wall is 12" for size reference.
Second big one was off the bottom in 22 fow and 18-20" diameter and 25-30 lbs. Swallowed an 8/0 Octopus hook santee rigged.
Now if'n I hadn't been barefooted on the pontoon I might have dragged him on board. He was pizzed off big time.
Thought for sure I had me a big ol blue cat on the line. These things do pull some drag.
