Boots Burger in Rockwall is pretty good BUT Burger Island, Rowlett location, is where we set the bar. Have not found one yet that makes me want to go anywhere else for a good burger.

Carrols Giant Burger in Navasota is pretty good for a dive burger.

Not bad but Dubl-R just down the road is better IMO, not really a mom and pop I guess but used to love Storms in Lampasas but havn't been in years...
