What's your favorite mom and pop burger?

Herd's in Jacksboro tops my list...double double all the way with a Coke. John's in Rotan was great; closed about 10 years ago.

Jolly Truck Stop just East of Wichita Falls on 287 has a pretty dang solid burger as well...All Jolly's food is good though.

Agree!! I have to sign a waiver to get it rare though.

The Trading Post at Palo Duro Canyon has amazing burgers! The rolled ice cream is to die for!

Didn't believe I would see Bacliff mentioned, but you also have include Tookies in Seabrook.

The Burger House in Colmesneil. I grew up there and I always used it for the standard I judged every other Burger on. Virgie, the lady that owned it, passed away a few years ago and her son runs it as far as I know now. It's not as good now but it's still dang good.

Bills in Burnet, order 1/2 order of frys or onion rings as you may not be able to eat them all. But the best is off my grill. Lol

The Apple store in Medina, the SPJ burger is hands down the best burger I've ever had.

Jucy's in Longview (and now Tyler) is mighty fine!

Butcher Shop in Longview is legit!

Several good ones on here but Herd's gets my vote.
