Good Opener For Second Half

Had a great hunt with a friend yesterday morning at my LA lease. Had 200+ birds (pintail and widgeon) working at one time there for a bit. Saw hundreds more in the close distance. Ended up with 2 geese, 2 pintail, 3 teal, and 7 widgeon and were finished in 14 minutes. Had great expectations this morning and only managed 1 widge! Here today, gone tommorrow.

Our first shot of the day was a snow that came in with some teal! The last shot of the day was a blue when had the boat loaded and scrambled for a gun and a shell and popped him.

Good hunt!! My uncle still has th redazz over Ike. I plan to help him rebuild up on big hill this summer.

They have been smoking the sucks in #8 in the Big Hill unit. Salt Bayou has been doing well too.
