    Covert camera help

Have a Covert Blackhawk that just up and quit sending photos yesterday morning. Just got out here to check it and found we have 1650 photos on the camera and it's only sent 763 to us since it was put out 3 weeks ago ....

I called covert earlier today and they said the camera is fine on their end and we typically have 60% to 80% signal on the camera.

Any idea what may be going on? I turned it off and turned it back on to see if that does anything

Have about 20 mins before we leave

do you have Photo Burst set to 2? That would account for most of them.

Do a default reset and format your sd card with the camera.

Sometimes it cannot send the photos as fast as it takes them. So I like to keep around a 3 min delay to make sure the pictures don't queue.

No burst. Just one photo per snap

Read that this may be the ticket. Is it a pretty simple process?

Yes. You can default reset and format SD card in camera settings in under 1 minute. Just gotta put your settings back how you want them afterwards.

Just be sure to save any pics off the card to your computer or phone...however you typically view them before the format.

And one thing I can assure you about any wireless cams...you will not be sent every pic the camera takes. I've pig hunted close to 100 sits this year I'd bet...over both Covert and Spartan cameras....I'll have pigs or deer come in while I'm on stand and not get pics sent to me. Happens often. I'm actually assuming the camera actually takes a pic...because I never pull my cards...but I know for a fact the pics aren't sent to my apps. Just food for thought.

Deer might come in and feed for a couple minutes and then leave. No pic sent.

Pigs might come in and feed for 5 minutes or so. I might get one pic sent to me.

I had a group of 6 pigs come in the other day over a Covert, they fed for 3 minutes before I shot one...no pic. Weird.

A couple nights ago, I had about 15 pigs come in over a Spartan....they fed for 2-3 minutes before I shot one....most ran off...a few came back. I shot another. They ran off and some came back...I shot another. They ran off. I only had one pic sent to me from that hunt...until I climbed down and got my arrows from under the feeder. Of course the camera took and sent me a pic of me. Lol.
