My boys are younger, but they really like the children's museum downtown.

Creole nature trail, crabbing, they have that trampoline park now (I believe it's called Altitude). I would go with indoor activities... Heading there next weekend to see family.

The visitor center is kind of cool.

Mr Bills Seafood for lunch shrimp po boy will change your life! Short drive down to the ferry at Cameron and the beach. You can drive on beach.

There's a cool indoor trampoline park. Name escapes me right now. Launch zone or something.

Spar waterpark in Sulphur may be open. Lake Charles beach too maybe?

SPAR Water Park. In Orange they have airboat rides right off I 10. Take them crabbing/fishing at Rockefeller NWR in Grand Chenier.
