Well, got a call from my grandpa today that the large 8 pt I had patterned was hit by a car this weekend on the county road close to their property. Im pretty much sick to my stomach cause I had put so much time into gettin him. Had a couple of encounters but never able to pull the trigger. My uncle whos a sheriff got ahold of the antlers for me so at least Ill get to hold em in my hands. Just wondering how many of yall this has happened to. Dont even think I wanna go hunt there anymore..this has really taken the wind out of my sails..o well guess thats how it goes. Just needed to vent

Appreciate it fellas. Just don't have much confidence since this is in Cherokee county..Seein one good east texas buck is a plus, but seein another on a 100 acre place..not the best odds. But once again thanks. Im sure Ill be back out there. Maybe Ill take out my frustrations on a pig with a slicktrickComment
