    Bow Shop Recommendations, Arlington

I've got a couple of youth bows that need some attention. Is there any place in Arlington or the surrounding areas, preferably off I-30, that is a reputable place? I need draw lengths, string loop, releases, and tune done. Probably new rests installed as well. I'd do it, but I'm unsure in my ability to do peep sights and such.

I'd be coming in from Dallas area for other business in Arlington, so I thought I'd kill 2 birds/1 stone.

I know it might be further away than you want but if you are ever up in the area cinnamon creek is fantastic. The people in the pro shop are great.

CCR. I live in Arlington and it's 100% worth the drive.

Gateway Archery is great and in Fort Worth. Jim can get you set up.

Cinnamon creek #1 and their isn't a close second, Alvarado archery is next. Both are 30-45min from Arlington area with no traffic but well worth the drive.

Well, made our way to Cinnamon Creek today and they did not disappoint. James was very attentive to my kids and showed great patience. My go-to has always been On Target Archery, but Cinnamon Creek may have changed my mind.

The thing is, is that I go in there thinking what I need based off my expert novice archery experience. I estimate won't get out of there without spending around $200 for my kids. James gets with each kid individually, checks their stance and draw, informs me of what they need, and I'm out the door, two bows set up, and two happy kids, well below what I thought it would be. He explains to me what is best for each of them, instead of what I thought they needed, so there was no pushing of any product or personal gain he was doing; just helping me make an informed decision. Kids got their bows, went up top to fling a few, and had a blast. Even the locals were helping them with their technique. Great experience.

On Target in Canton has been my go to because that's how they worked with me the first time I got a bow. There was no judgement in whether I shot Mathew's or Hoyt, and from what I've heard from other places I thought it was the only one worth it's weight in the area. I'm glad to know of CCR too. Its nice to know of a place I can trust on both sides of the metroplex fence.
